Michael E. Hovey, 45, Kawanee, died April 16,1997, at Kawanee Hospital .
Services are 10:30 am Saturday at Davenport Memorial Park, Inurnment is at Davenport Memorial Cementary.
There will be no visitations. Memorials may be made to People's National Bank in Kawanee.
Mr. Hovey was born February 23, 1952, in Davenport, to Charles F. and Doris Swiger. He Married Dana M. Wilson August 9, 1984, in Beverly Hill, California.
Survivors include: Kelley L. and Rachel E. Hovey, sons, Michael A. and Adam C. Hovey, all of Kawanee, Illinios; sisters and brother-in-law, Beverly and Al Gomez of Omaha, Nebraska; Kathy and Steve Weiss.
Michael graduated from Davenport West High School in 1970.

Bruce Sorensen
Mike was a life-long friend and sadly he was a victim of ALS aka Lou Gerhig's disease. His dad and older brother Chuck also were ALS victims.
