DAVENPORT -- Services for Kim W. Oaks, 47, of Davenport, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.

Visitation is 4-7 p.m. today at the mortuary.

Mr. Oaks died unexpectedly Monday, Sept. 6, 1999, at his home.He was employed as a truck driver at various Quad-City firms. Before that, he was employed as city manager of Preferred Exhibitor Services in Atlanta, Ga.

He was born Sept. 23, 1951, in Davenport, to Wade and Barbara (Smith) Oaks.

He was a member of the Teamsters Union. He enjoyed car racing, fishing and football.

Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Agent, Davenport; a son, Christopher, Davenport; grandchildren, Jadelyn and Tony; his mother, Barbara Oaks, Davenport; sisters, Kristi Webster, Davenport, and Kelly Oaks, Davenport; a brother, Kasey Oaks, Davenport; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father in 1985.
