DAVENPORT -- Karen Kay Baugher, Davenport, died Thursday, July 11, 2002, at Trinity Medical Center-West Campus, Rock Island. Celebration of Life services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Weerts Funeral Home, Davenport, with visitation one hour prior to service. Visitation will also be held 1-3 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport. She had worked as office manager for Greenleaf Construction before owning and operating "Walls Unlimited," Davenport, for seven years. Karen Jensen was born Feb. 19, 1952, in Rock Island to Elvin and Florence (Fick) Jensen. She married David Baugher on Aug. 11, 1973, in Blue Grass. She graduated from Augustana College in 1974. Karen was always upbeat and outgoing. She was an active member of Blue Grass Presbyterian, where she had been Young Group Leader. For many years she was involved with youth baseball in NW Davenport. Her family was important to her, and she served as an inspiration to all who knew her. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Kidney Foundation.
