Nancy Jean Graves Roe

Nancy Jean Roe, 74, of Davenport, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Country Manor in Davenport.

Visitation will be held from noon to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow immediately at Rose Hill Cemetery in Buffalo.

Nancy was born March 22, 1952, the daughter of Donald and Marian (Stumberg) Graves. She was united in marriage to Leslie Roe, who preceded her in death in March 1988.

Nancy worked at Slagel Foods for more than 20 years before retiring. She enjoyed her cats and, in her younger years, fishing.

Above all, Nancy loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Attending their softball games and cheering them on brought her great joy. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

Those left to honor her memory include her sons, Casey (Kristi) Roe and Lucas Roe (Veronica Ballesteros); and her grandchildren, Sydney, Molly and Piper Roe, daughters of Casey and Kristi. Nancy’s nieces and nephews include Sara (Allen) Glover, Stacy (Robert) Palmer and Tom (Miranda) Petersen, children of her sister, Donna, and her husband, Bill Petersen; and Chris (Kassandra) Graves, Jake Graves and Mallory (Robert) Bartleson, children of her brother, Carl, and his wife, Nancy Graves.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leslie; her sister, Donna Petersen; and her brother, Carl Graves.
