DAVENPORT -- Funeral services for Willard E. Good, of Davenport, will be 1 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2005, at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary Chapel in Davenport. Burial and graveside services will follow at the Rock Island Arsenal National Cemetery. The family will greet friends from noon until service time at the mortuary. Mr. Good died Wednesday, June 15, 2005, at his residence in Davenport following a lengthy illness. Willard Eugene Good was born on Nov. 8, 1951, to Russell and Leona (Stockman) Good in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. He was a graduate of Davenport West High School and went on to serve in the United States army during the Viet Nam War. Following his military service, he worked as a janitor for various area custodial services. He was an avid sports fan and never missed a Hawkeye game. Survivors include a special friend, Debbie Elshoff and her two sons, Jason and Jared, all of Davenport; two daughters, Reyna Good and Christina Good, both of Oregon; his son, Russell and his companion, Danielle, of Davenport; a granddaughter, Kaylee Good, of Davenport; four sisters, Patricia and her husband, Jim Barry, of N.C., Connie and her companion, Mike Good, of Davenport, Linda and her companion, Robert Good, of Davenport, and Judy and her husband, Bob Bickle, of Milan, Ill.; a brother, Stan and his wife, Lisa Good, of Fla.; a half-brother, Jim and his wife, Gerri Good, of Davenport; his step-father, Delbert Stockman, of Davenport; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Richard. He will be missed dearly by all that knew and loved him. Memorials may be made to the Genesis VNA Hospice Association.
