Funeral Information:
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 from 4-7 P.M. at Zion Lutheran Church, Wilton, IA. Additional visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
Services will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at 10:30 A.M. at the Zion Lutheran Church. The officiant will be Pastor Duncan Sprague.
Serving as pallbearers will be Keith Feuerbach, Gordon Arnold, Joe Schmidt, Roy Robert, Tom Moeller, Mike Petersen and Pete Grunder. Honorary pallbearers will be the B52's: Candy Burmeister, Cherrie Goetsch and Sharma Kroeger.
Interment will take place at the Sharon Cemetery, Wilton, IA.

Life Overview:
Theresa A. Sessler, age 61, of Wilton, IA, died on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Lutheran Homes of Muscatine following a long battle with Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy.
Theresa was born July 11, 1952 to Alvin and Kathlyn (Schaefer) Schmidt in Davenport, IA. She graduated from Davenport West High School in 1970 and attended the University of Northern Iowa. She married Roger A. Sessler on September 30, 1972 in Davenport, IA.
Theresa was the director of the Zion Lutheran Preschool for 21 years.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Wilton, IA. Theresa enjoyed reading, crafts, counting cross stitch and loved children. She was a strong woman and wasn't affraid to express her opinion.
Survivors:
She is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband Roger Sessler of Wilton, IA, her sisters: Marilyn and her husband Wayne Wells of Gettysburg, PA and Sharon Schmidt of Omaha, NE, her brother Earl and his wife Pat Schmidt of Stockton, IA, her mother-in-law Vera Sessler of Wilton, IA, her sister-in-law Janet and husband Mark Carroll of LeClaire, IA and her brother-in-law Richard and his wife Mary Sessler of Muscatine, IA.
