NORTH EAST, Md. -- Peggy (Peg) J. Morgan, of North East, Md., formerly of Davenport, passed away at her home on May 8. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on June 4, 1952, the daughter of John R. and Betty M. (McKinney) Morgan. She graduated from Davenport West High School in 1970. She married William Bear in 1985. Peg is survived by her husband, Bill, and her sons, Micah and Ian, all of North East, Md.; mother, Betty Kahl, of Davenport; stepmother, Joanne Morgan, of West Des Moines; sister, Donna, of Davenport; nephew, Chad Turnquist and his wife, Alicia; great-niece, Brianna Turnquist; and great-nephew, Nolan Turnquist, all of Maysville. She was preceded in death by her father, John Morgan, and stepfather, Andrew Kahl. A "Celebration of Peg" will be held on July 29, 2006, at the shelter in Emeis Park, Davenport, at 6 p.m. Friends are invited to attend.
