As sophomores, Tim and I traveled with the basketball team to all the away games. We never suited up as I had a broken leg and why Tim did not, I can’t recall. With every school we visited, we would often have to sneak off to some dark remote hallway corner, so Tim could pull out his Camels and have a smoke! How he never got caught, I don’t know.
Many years later, behind a big guy at the grocery store, he slaps down a pack or camels, instantly I laughed and said, Tim are you still hiding when you smoke those? We had a nice talk of the good old days…..
