Obituary of Virginia Hensler Cohen
Virginia Hensler Cohen died unexpectedly at her home on December 11. She was only 66. She leaves behind three children she adored — her daughter, Brianna, and her twin sons, Sam and Alex — a grandson, Tristan, who meant the world to her, and her husband, Richard. A native of Davenport, Iowa, she also is survived by two sisters, Barbara and Teresa, three brothers, Rick, Frankie, and Bob, two nieces, Alison and Josie, and three nephews, Ronnie, Nick, and Bryon. Known as Gini to all who knew and loved her, she was a former model and legal secretary, a past president of the Capri Film Society, a star pitcher for a D.C. softball team, a phenomenal cook, a lover of animals, a crossword puzzle maven, a voracious consumer of novels, and a person of great wit. A memorial service will be held for Gini at noon on Saturday, December 15, at the Cloverdale Playhouse, 960 Cloverdale Rd, Montgomery, Alabama. Please dress casually. In lieu of flowers, please bring a smile to the memorial or send a letter to the family at 702 Cloverdale Rd, Montgomery,
