Pearl Dolly Weber Obituary

Pearl Dolly Weber
1952 ~ 2016

While surrounded by loved ones Pearl "Dolly" Weber was called home on April 14, 2016 to claim her wings after 64 short years on this earth. Dolly was born in Davenport, Iowa on February 27, 1952.
Dolly was a registered nurse in the truest sense as she spent her entire life giving to, and caring about others for over thirty years. She attended Cameron College and Boston University. She touched thousands of lives with her enormous heart and giving spirit. The phrase "shirt off my back" must have been created to describe her. She believed the best about everyone who crossed her path and gave more to perfect strangers than she kept for herself. She helped homeless and battered women, worked in multiple elderly care facilities and provided foster care to many children in Idaho. Her true love was home health care for terminally ill children. She loved them with a reckless abandon knowing they would only be part of her life for a short time because she believed they needed as much love from as many people as possible while they were here.
Dolly was loved by so many and her leaving this world has saddened the hearts of many. Those who had the privilege to know her knew they were in presence of an angel.
She is survived by her husband, Drew; and five children, Melissa Caudill, Amy (Aaron) Biermann, Andrea (Michael) Meza, R.J. (Stacy) Caudill, Jr. and Joseph Weber. She also leaves behind two step-children, Ty and Cody Weber; eight grandchildren: Abigail, Josie, Alexis, Hunter, Hailey, Elyse, Aubrey and Max; brothers, William and Grant Gold; and one sister, Susan Keller.
Aligned with Dolly's wishes there will be no formal memorial service held. If you wish to pay your respects please make donations to St Jude's Childrens' Hospital or the Ronald McDonald House.
Memories and condolences may be shared with the family on Dolly's memorial webpage at www.summersfuneral.com.
